WHAT DOES THE PROJECT PLANNER / INTERNAL PROJECT LEADER DO? 

You manage and structure all incoming and outgoing information for your projects so that your colleagues can focus on the quality of the plans and calculations. Following tasks can be part of your responsibilities:

  • you estimate the impact of incoming information and changes and brief your colleagues on the relevant issues
  • you coordinate the reinforcement plans
  • you write internal reports
  • you prepare the contents of the specifications
  • you make estimates, based on your knowledge of cost prices
  • you follow up the budget and prepare the invoicing
  • you review internal and external plans

Experienced internal project leaders can also be responsible for general project coordination during the execution phase of complex projects. The following tasks are involved:

  • you draw up the project planning
  • from the start of the execution phase you will be the first contact for all internal and external parties
  • you follow up the construction site and check the reinforcement on site
  • you take part in external meetings
  • you manage the project budget

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT PLANNER / INTERNAL PROJECT LEADER?

As a project planner / internal project leader you are responsible for all information flows associated with the project to ensure that all parties have the right information at the right time.

WHAT IS THE POSITION OF THE PROJECT PLANNER / INTERNAL PROJECT LEADER IN THE ESTABLIS ORGANISATION?

As a project planner / internal project leader, you will be part of a project team, alongside a structural designer and a BIM designer. You will report to an experienced project leader and act as his/her right hand.

WHAT ARE THE EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR A PROJECT PLANNER / INTERNAL PROJECT LEADER?

  • Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent in Applied Structural Engineering Sciences
  • Industrial Engineer / Masters in Industrial Sciences – Construction
  • Bachelor Construction
  • Bachelor Applied Architecture
