The Tivoli project comprises the building of 270 subsidized apartments for owner occupation, 123 social housing units, some commercial spaces, two day care centers and a small workshop for the Brussels cleaning services. The project also comprises the construction of the local roads. The sustainable nature of the district is set by a starters center for businesses in the environmental field, very high energy efficiency of the houses and buildings, roads constructed in view of pedestrians and cyclists, attention to permeability of the soil and water resources management, as well as green zones and improvement of the biodiversity.
