DHL Express is coming up with a 4,290m² logistics radar work with three logistics ‘fingers’ for distribution to and from the delivery trucks centrally located on the site.

One finger is a long rectangle, with a width of 4m, which will be built against the warehouse. On such a finger, 30 vans (15 along each side) will be parked. As the gates will be provided at about 60 cm height, couriers will be able to step straight from inside the finger into the loading floor of the van during the loading and unloading process.

The building's sustainability ambitions were assured by means of the BREEAM

standards. The ambitions were included in the concept, construction and operational phases. Here, a BREEAM Excellent score was aimed for. For example, the building will be raised with additional free height to accommodate future changes of function. The entire roof area will be covered with photovoltaic panels. The electrical residual power will be used to charge electric vehicles.
