your role
As a structural designer, you are responsible for the structural calculations in the project. You work closely with the BIM designers and point out any issues to the project leader, to whom you also report.
your responsibilities
- Performing structural design calculations, creating accompanying specifications and estimates
- Preparing structural plans and bills of quantities
- Checking internal & external plans and design reports
- Effective communication with BIM designers and the project leader
what are we looking for?
- An experienced professional with a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
- At least 5 years of experience as a structural designer or structural engineer
- Independently developing structural concepts and designs
- Experience in leading and attending external (design) meetings
- Proactive, problem-solving, and result-oriented work approach
- Work proficiency in Dutch; knowledge of SCIA Engineer, Buildsoft Concrete, IDEA StatiCa, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, Hilti Profis Engineer, CloudPiling, and ArchiSnapper is a plus
