your role
As a BIM designer, you create structural plans in a BIM environment based on the calculations of the structural engineer and the architectural plans. You work together with the project leader and structural engineer in the team.
your responsibilities
- Drawing up clear plans with all structural elements
- Checking third-party plans for conformity with the structural plans
- Preparing bills of quantities based on the structural plans
- Identifying issues when drafting the plans
what are we looking for?
- A motivated professional with a technical education in construction; ideally a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology. Candidates with a secondary diploma in construction techniques and relevant work experience are also certainly eligible
- Preferably some initial work experience in a (structural) engineering firm
- A team player with an eye for quality and precision
- Work proficiency in Dutch; knowledge of ACC, AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, Geo-IT LastenboekLink is a plus
