Cookie policy Establis
1. What are cookies?
Cookies may be used during your visit to the ESTABLIS website. Cookies are small files that a website sends to your computer when you visit the website and that are stored on your computer. These files allow you to be recognized as a user during a subsequent visit to the ESTABLIS website. ESTABLIS uses these cookies to make your surfing experience easier and more pleasant and to better tailor the content to your needs and preferences, by taking your previous visits into account. A cookie is therefore completely passive and does not contain any software programs, viruses or 'spyware'.
2. Which cookies does ESTABLIS use?
ESTABLIS uses various cookies, both files that automatically disappear after the browser is closed and files that are also used during a subsequent visit. ESTABLIS itself sends a number of cookies ('first party cookies'), which ESTABLIS manages itself, also in terms of processing the collected data. This allows ESTABLIS to improve your user experience of its website, for example by saving the selected language settings or preventing you from seeing the same advertisements repeatedly.
ESTABLIS partners also place cookies (‘third party cookies’), which were developed by or for them and where only these partners have access to the cookies and the collected information. ESTABLIS therefore has no control over and/or knowledge of the content and operation of these cookies. Advertisers can, for example, add cookies to their advertisements on the ESTABLIS website to gain insight into your areas of interest, in order to only show you interesting advertisements.
In addition, ESTABLIS uses third parties, such as Google Analytics, to analyse the use of the website. These services also place cookies on your computer, in order to see how visitors use the website. This analysis is necessary for ESTABLIS to adapt its website to the preferences of visitors, again to increase its ease of use. Other third parties that can place cookies on your computer via our website are social network services such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+. This is done via the buttons of these services that you see on the website to promote (“like”) or share (“tweet”) the content. This includes Facebook’s famous 'Like button' and 'Like box' (Friend 1, friend 2 and x people like this), whereby Facebook can recognise visitors by means of cookies.
3. Refuse or delete cookies?
If you wish to continue visiting the ESTABLIS website without adjusting the cookie settings and click on the “continue” link, the installation of cookies is accepted. It is possible to refuse the installation of cookies via the browser settings of your computer. However, some parts of our websites may not work or may not work optimally and/or access to them may not be possible, and that is of course not the intention.
You can also delete the already installed cookies from your computer or mobile device at any time. After disabling and/or deleting cookies, you will continue to see advertisements, but they will not be tailored to your previous use of the ESTABLIS website.
